Have a look at this project in Maine, IN KINSHIP,  a multi-year performance project taking place on the Penobscot River. The author describes the piece as “an arts-based effort to help increase the resiliency of the system and everyone who is a part of it, to tell its many stories, to invest in recovery, and to shift the consciousness of its communities toward justness.” Neat-o! America’s oldest Indigenous theatre company, Spiderwoman Theater is celebrating their 40th anniversary! Congrats to them! And if you’re in NYC for the festivities you can catch Canadian act A Tribe Called Red performing.  (via Playbill.com)

Did you know Andy Warhol and Truman Capote were going to write a Broadway play? And then someone went back through Warhol’s tapes and then wrote the show? Are you not obsessed with this? I might be obsessed with this. (via WBUR)
