Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show – MainLine Theatre ***FINAL DAYS***

It’s back! An annual favourite from MainLine Theatre featuring a huge cast and live band. It’s time to put on your fishnets and black nail polish, take a step to the right, and bring your knees in tight – I don’t need to say any more, you’re already doing the time warp again, aren’t you?!

 The Hockey Sweater: A Musical – The Segal Centre for Performing Arts

Roch Carrier’s classic children’s story is coming to the stage at the Segal Centre just as the weather here in Montreal is becoming decidedly wintry. Let’s celebrate everything good about winter with some family friendly Canadian nostalgia. AND it’s a musical!

News of the Future – National Theatre School **FINAL DAYS***

Intersecting stories follow people in a society falling precipitously into chaos as they try to make sense of a new world order.

Bites of Life, Episode 1 – Gleams Theatre

Gleams Theater opens their season of series with Bites of Life, Episode 1. The show is comprised of three short plays, performed in a cosy salon in NDG.

We interviewed Ira S of Gleams Theatre and she took us through the ten years she’s been working with short plays, and plays in non-traditional theatre spaces.

Bites of Life, Episode 2 – Gleams Theatre

Gleams Theater continues their season with Bites of Life, Episode 2. The show is comprised of three short plays, performed in a cosy chocolate shop – coffee and a chocolate are included with admission!

First up at Centaur Theatre this season is The Theo Fleury Story, and as one of our QDF staff is a born and raised, do or die Calgary Flames fan, this is one to keep your eye on as a lengendary and heart-breaking story. Is it a hockey story or a human story?

The Mountaintop – Black Theatre Workshop and Neptune Theatre ***FINAL DAYS***

Black Theatre Workshop and Neptune Theatre present The Mountaintop, the story of Martin Luther King Jr’s final night before his murder in Memphis, Tennessee, right after he made one of his most famous speeches: the prescient “Mountaintop” speech, which you can listen to here!

Her Side of the Story: Revision to Resist – Imago Theatre

Sunday Night Improv | Les Lundis D’impro | Art Machine – Theatre Sainte-Catherine
